Completed!

Little Big Men is finally 100% complete. The premier of the film will be at the Mill Arts Centre, SPiceball Park, Banbury on the 7th October 2010! Hurrah!

Very Nearly!

Well, it's been a while, and we're very nearly there. Since I last posted on here, all the editing has been completed, we've had the illustrious Peter Dickson from E4/XFactor fame doing the voiceover for us, all the ADR has been completed and today, the visual effects were also completed! All we're waiting for is the final mix and render and we're there. Nearly 3 years on!!!

Visual FX

We're very very lucky in that we have just got some real pro's on board - Alexandra Papavramides (who worked on films such as the last 4 Harry Potter films and Cloverfield) has just been signed to do the visual FX on LBM!

Told you she was magic!

Yep, Mares has now completed logging Little Big Men! Also, the glorious editing team has now edited over 25% clips! We're getting there people! :)

Magical Mary

All Little Big Men logging is now done by Mary Snee, as if she hadn't already put in enough effort playing adult Sparks!!! :) More than half the film is now logged....

The French are coming!!!

Olivier Bourat (2nd Camera) has agreed to help out with the editing on LBM! Straight out of the blocks, Olivier has delivered four great scenes, making us edge ever-closer to a completed assembly edit! Watch this space....

The children are shocked & so is granny!

Scene's 76, 102, 103, 104, 105 and 106 are all now assembled. Beam us up, Hippy!

The children appear!

Scene 74, where the younger versions of Hollywood (Jack), Radar (Chris), Sparks (Moni) and Knuckles (Alex) is now completely assembled! This is a really great scene and has cut together fantastically!

Granny Grantham & more!

Following a rather lardy xmas period, editing has now recommenced in earnest on the LBM Project. Both Tony and Hugh are now working full time on the project as well as Rick, to make sure that we meet the end of February deadline for the assembly edit completion. Scene's completed since we last spoke are 62 (Granny Grantham's chicken lobbing scene!), 7 (Prof arriving at the castle scene) with 102 (Kids arriving at Granny Grantham's house) well underway!

Meaty Scenes and editor's dreams!

More news. The Mr Meaty coming out of the castle scene is now assembled. Also we have had a new schedule put together from our editing team meaning that the complete assembly edit will be finished by the end of Feb 2007! Good work team!

Scene 5

The first complete scene, with the gang, vince and larry, junior and King Leach is now complete in assembly form. Jem and & were literally laughing out loud at some bits. Very amusing - this film is going to be great!

A New Baby!

We have a new baby in the team! Today Manfred Needham (aka Adult Hollywood) and his wife had a little baby girl, Darcy Rose Needham! Congratulations from all the team Manfred! :)

LBM Structure

The editing of LBM goes well. Even though there is 29 hours of footage from the 9-day shoot, Ric & Tony have now pieced together the structure of the film, coming in at around 1 hour, 10 minutes. This structure includes no close-up's, pick-ups, mids and so on, but organises the film in its entirety

Charlie Chicken !

Today marks the first clip to be seen from the LBM shoot. It's Leach Junior nearly being run over by the gang in their car, lobbing up the chicken and knocking himself out on a nearby wall. Comedy genius!
